I'm Getting Serious Here

2/15/2007   Edits on Prophecy are complete. Edits on my 2 short stories are almost complete. What excuse is left? None. Time to jump into the deep end. When I decide to jump, it's usually with both feet, cannonball style. My next door neighbour, David, a graphic designer, is working on business cards for me. Why? I'm heading out, stories tucked under my arm, into the big bad world of selling a product -- my baby, Prophecy. Beginning of March will see me at the Ad Astra writing convention in Toronto(hopefully distributing my new business cards). Schmooze time. Those who know me will now be rolling their eyes and sighing deeply. This is where I'm in my element. An extrovert's idea of heaven -- a room full of new people to meet. More friends! And, with luck, some contacts. Fingers crossed for me. I want this more than you can imagine.
