More on the writing gig (with pay!)
9/27/2007 I mentioned earlier that I actually have landed a paying writing job. True! Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS) has hired me to do a series of articles over the next 7 months related to their project to promote a number of park reserves in the interlake region. Please see their website for more information on this great organization and their work to preserve our boreal forests in Manitoba.
I've been doing volunteer editing/writing for Ron Thiessen (Executive Director) for a number of months now and I guess he's been happy enough with my work since he now plans to PAY me for it! Yay! I'm completely thrilled. The hard part is nailing down the individuals that I have to interview. A slippery bunch. The writing will be a breeze! Hey, that's what I do!
I'll post the articles or refer you to the magazines they'll be published in when the time comes.
Look ma! I'm a real writer!

Congrats Bev! This is so massively cool. (I KNOW you emailed us about this, but just wanted to throw it out the world at large!)
