She's Gone

3/24/2007   "Lady's" gone. Sigh. It's hard when they head out on their own. My first electronic submission. Momentary panic ensued when I thought that I had sent the wrong draft. Thank God for the "Sent" box. All's well. The editors at Norilana books are not, at this moment, perusing my edits for "Declining Caribou Herds on Lake Winnipeg's East Shore" I think that might have confused them.

So, now what? Both my short stories have been sent out. I just sit and wait. . and wait. .and wait. Better get my butt in gear on Wishmaker. All excuses are now gone. Where did I hide that chocolate? Bribe time.

Next time eat the chocolate first before hitting the send button:)

Good. Very good. Now all work is out making the rounds. If only I could get to that fantastic place... Except you DO have to finish Wishmaker -- and I believe you have a novel languishing somewhere. Ha! It's not just me! All kidding aside, congrats on sending it out, Bev. Enjoy the heck out of the chocolate. You deserve it.
